The 96 inch AHEAD stencil that is listed above is designed according to the Federal Specs (FHWA) set forth by the MUTCD. This 96" Ahead stencil is the industry standard, however, there are variations in some states. We suggest that you verify the height needed for your specific project. This stencil is shipped in 5 individual pieces, making it easy to store, easier to use, and more versatile. All 1-800-Stencil’s are professional quality and made from either Light or Pro-Grade LDPE, Aluminum, or optional HDPE plastic to all last for years of professional use.

Aluminum can last almost forever, you can reuse it and abuse it. It will be ready to work today and in 10 years. The ridged aluminum we use is also perfect for thermoplastic extruding, saving hundreds of dollars. Shown here in .080" thickness, but it is also available in .190" (6061) which is harder, thicker, and stronger.
