Knowing Which Stencil Grade is Best for You
Before you place an order for one of our stencils, it is important to not only focus on the design of your stencil but also on the grade. However, before you select your stencil grade, you will want to evaluate what kind of use you want to get out of your stencil and how often you will be using it. We offer 3 different kinds or grades of plastic stencils along with our extremely durable aluminum grade stencil. You will want to review each grade and decide which is best for you and your use. We have a full list of the different stencil grades we offer along with specific details regarding each grade.
As mentioned before, we offer three grades of plastic stencils. Our Pro-Grade and Light-Duty Stencils are both composed of a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) material. Our Pro-Grade stencils are slightly thicker than the Light-Duty stencils. When properly cared for these Pro-Grade stencils can last for several years. The Light-Duty Stencils, although they are somewhat thinner than the Pro-Grades, are still durable but can be rather flimsy. They are a great option for stencils you do not use regularly. Our HIPS grade stencil is another great choice for the stencils that you will not use more than a couple of times. HIPS stencils are composed of a PVC material. These plastic grades are all great possibilities but if you are looking for something that is nearly indestructible, we would highly recommend our Aluminum stencil. Our 5052 Aluminum grade stencils are built to take some abuse and are great for everyday use!
