How to Stripe Your Lot with Our Parking Lot Stencils
Striping your parking lot with our parking lot stencils is a pretty simple process! We've put together a guide for our customers who want to stripe their own parking lot, and you can use that as a starting point to your striping job. One tip that we like to give our customers is that successful striping is mostly a matter of doing the right preparation work. Make sure your lot is clean (pressure washing may be helpful), choose the right paint, and get the right stencils from us. After that, it's a piece of cake!
You'll want your parking lot spaces to be roughly 9' by 18', but you'll want to check your local state regulations to make sure you are complying with state laws. Don't forget that you'll need to add handicap accessible spaces, as well, and you can find those regulations online. If you are laying out spaces from scratch as opposed to repainting old lines, we suggest pre-marking your spaces with chalk to other washable medium so you can plan out your spaces and won't run into any unexpected spacing issues once you've already started painting.
